Rosenborg Castle was built by the Denmark King Christian IV in 1605. It was first built as a summer palace and the construction was completed in 1634. The design of it was in Renaissance style and it was very lavish inside the palace. The palace started opening to the public in 1838.
Management of the palace really cares about the visitors and therefore some of the items on display are equipped with QR code. You will understand the background of the products by scanning the QR code using your cell phone. On the ground floor, you will find the jewellery display room, which displayed a large number of jewellery belonging to the Royal Family, such as the two crowns belonging to King Christian IV and King Christian V, which are must-see products.
As mentioned earlier, the design of the palace is very lavish and it introduces the 300 years of history of the royal family. The palace also opened the bedroom, study room as well as having lots of household accessories and art products on display.
