Marmite is a western-style hot pot shop located in Akasaka. This hot pot shop is very popular amongst the Japanese entertainment field, and was recommended by a Japanese television program known as "Oshare izumu" (Fashionable).
The special feature of the restaurant is the western-style hot pot that is cooked inside a ceramic casserole. The soup based is made of beef, chicken and soup, and has been boiled for at least two days before serving. You can then place a large amount of vegetables, some meat and seafood into the hot pot, and the soup can help standing out the freshness and the taste of the food added to it. After having the hot pot, the soup base can be used to cook rice, pasta or bread, and it is a must-try item as it is so tasty.
